Lauren Skelton Siddens, a native of Greenville, was working in the banking industry after college when she began contemplating the perfect spa retreat. Lauren attended the College of Charleston and there she was educated in the hospitality industry and international business. After consulting with international experts at the top of the spa industry, Lauren unveiled the results of her dream and opened River Falls Spa in 2006. 

River Falls Spa is an oasis in the heart of downtown Greenville, tucked away beneath the steps of the historic courthouse building on Main Street. River Falls Spa reflects the spirit of Greenville - modern and unique, charming, and welcoming with a passion, attention-to-detail, and charm. Lauren hosts major corporations regularly at River Falls Spa who recognize that when their employees are relaxed and rejuvenated; they are happier and more productive. River Falls Spa regularly hosts the professional golfers and celebrities who come to Greenville every year during the BMW Pro Am. In fact, the BMW Pro-Am is one of Lauren's busiest weeks. Professionals and celebrities know they will get world-class services from River Falls Spa specialists, and owner Lauren believes her spa contributes to the success formula for this major event. Athletes who relax perform better. 

As a female entrepreneur, Lauren realized after a few years in business that she needed a way to meet and As a female entrepreneur, Lauren understands that "thinking out of the box" and that focusing on a great client experience has given her and River Falls Spa the sustainability to continue to be successful. Lauren is very involved in the community and has served on several boards including the South Carolina Children’s Theatre.  Lauren is a big advocate in the fight again Cancer and continually supports the C3, Challenge to Conquer Cancer.  After a few years in business, Lauren also created a networking group called Women Mean Business to meet and support other female business owners and woman in business.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and family and friends.  Horseback riding and cycling are two of her favorite outdoor activities, as well as hiking with her pups, Allie and Josie.

Hannah Tobias

Spa Director

Hannah enjoys the charm of life in South Carolina. A native of Vermont where her favorite memories of the beautiful outdoors and frosty mornings of New England and time spent with family make her the perfect fit for the family atmosphere of River Falls Spa.   The middle of 3 sisters, Hannah has learned to be both flexible and creative.  Hannah has built her career around client services and she enjoys the daily interaction of making someone's day a little brighter. She recognizes that River Falls Spa is uniquely positioned to make clients feel both more relaxed and more stress-free and enjoys being part of that rejuvenating process.

Heather Frechette

Spa Coordinator

Heather was born and raised in Upstate New York and has lived in the Greenville area since July 1993. She has owned her own business for 12 years and has recently stepped away from everyday operations allowing her time to focus on hobbies, travel and working part time as a Spa Coordinator at River Falls Spa. She enjoys meeting the clients and helping them choose the services best suited to their relaxation and wellness needs, as well as, working with an amazing team of Massage Therapists, Estheticians, and Nail Technicians.

Sharon connor

Lead Esthetician

Sharon comes to River Falls Spa via the West Coast where she attended the Career Academy of Beauty in Anaheim, California and obtained her Esthetician license. With over 25 years of experience, Sharon specializes in skincare treatments – both corrective skin care and healthful skin optimization. She is certified in both Eminence and Epicuren product lines. In addition she is a specialist in brow shaping.

Her pleasant personality creates an escape from your day-to-day hustle and bustle and an environment of rejuvenation, relaxation, and “re-energization” for all of her clients. She will put you at ease as she masterfully works with you and educates her clients on each and every aspect of their personal home-care regimen. She will ensure that each client is fully equipped and capable of looking and feeling as great each day at home as they do at River Falls Spa.

Brooke Blackston

Esthetician

Brooke is a born and raised Greenville Native and has had her Esthetics License and Microdermabrasion Certification since 2015. She's very passionate about skincare and her clients overall health, wellness, and relaxation. Her bubbly personality makes it easy to be able to relax and enjoy your personalized service whether it's a results driven treatment or simply a time for relaxation.

She does an amazing job explaining to clients what steps need to be taken for the results they want to achieve not only at the Spa but also with a home care regimen.  She's happy to spend as much time as a client needs to answer any questions and make sure they leave with the knowledge to properly care for their skin. She's constantly studying new processes and procedures to improve her craft and believes strongly in the power of healing through touch.

Cheryl Hill 

Massage Therapist 

Cheryl has an innate ability to restore muscle alignment and eliminate pain from injury or overuse. Her focus on neck and back issues, as well as, relieve pain from sport or any type of injury will have you back in action after one visit. To truly benefit the most is to set up a weekly or monthly regimen that will keep you at your best.

Cheryl’s expertise with sports enhancement programs and injury rehabilitation is her specialty. Cheryl has been a licensed therapist since 1999.

Holly Sams Ward

Massage Therapist

Holly has been a licensed massage therapist since graduating from Greenville Technical College in 2017. She has a passion for helping people relax and achieve overall wellness. Her ability to listen to each client's needs allows her to customize each massage. She takes pride in professionalism and thinks knowledge is key! She enjoys sharing tips and information on the muscles so you can stay active. Holly is trained in Swedish, deep tissue and prenatal massage. Whether you just want to relax or have an overall goal to ease a painful injury, Holly is happy to help!

Eileen Zagone

Massage Therapist

Eileen is a bright light at River Falls Spa! She always makes you feel welcome, relaxed and peaceful.

Eileen has been a full-time licensed massage therapist since 2004 and has worked in a variety of settings including spas and medical clinics with an array of clients from students to professional and weekend athletes. She is originally from the Washington, DC, area where she earned degrees from the University of Maryland and the Potomac Massage Training Institute.

Eileen has studied many different therapeutic modalities and seeks to always provide client-centered sessions that focus on the specific needs of each client. She believes regular massage can provide healing in many dimensions by providing a pause from entrenched stress patterns and opening the mind and body to feeling and functioning optimally.

Whitney Marie Schofield

Massage Therapist

Whitney Marie has a bright smile and a warm heart to welcome you to River Falls Spa.  Her professionalism and compassion to provide top service sets her apart from all others.  She understands the needs of our clients and focuses on their health and well-being.  

A graduate of the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy, Whitney has been practicing massage therapy since 2009, first in Florida for 5 years and then living in Colorado and working in the Spa environment. Whitney has obtained certifications in myofascial sports massage, neuromuscular therapy, medical cupping and Swedish massages.

In her free time, you can find Whitney spending time with her husband and daughter, hiking, traveling or going horseback riding.
