Lauren Skelton Siddens, a native of Greenville, was working in the banking industry after college when she began contemplating the perfect spa retreat. Lauren attended the College of Charleston and there she was educated in the hospitality industry and international business. After consulting with international experts at the top of the spa industry, Lauren unveiled the results of her dream and opened River Falls Spa in 2006.

River Falls Spa regularly hosts the professional golfers and celebrities who come to Greenville every year during the BMW Pro Am. In fact, the BMW Pro-Am is one of Lauren's busiest weeks. As a female entrepreneur, Lauren realized after a few years in business that she needed a way to meet and As a female entrepreneur, Lauren understands that "thinking out of the box" and that focusing on a great client experience has given her and River Falls Spa the sustainability to continue to be successful. Lauren is very involved in the community and has served on several boards including the South Carolina Children’s Theatre. Lauren is a big advocate in the fight again Cancer and continually supports the C3, Challenge to Conquer Cancer. After a few years in business, Lauren also created a networking group called Women Mean Business to meet and support other female business owners and woman in business.
Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and family and friends. Horseback riding and cycling are two of her favorite outdoor activities, as well as hiking with her pups, Allie and Josie.
